* C2 (Cup Winners' Cup) is a European competition organized by UEFA for winners of domestic Cups.

** Unusually, Újpesti Dózsa SC and CF Barcelona participate in both C1 and C3 during this season.  This is because the latter, Fairs Cup, was then organized by an autonomous association and teams participated by invitation.  It won't be until 1971 when C3 is taken over by UEFA under the name of UEFA Cup.

*** Real Madrid CF participates in Champions Cup (C1) as the title holder.
