* The original game ended 31-28 (15-12) for Egypt; however, the Italians filed an official protest for a referee mistake, and FIBA decided a replay of the match two days later. Egypt protested this decision and forfeited the tournament. As a result of this withdrawal, this game and all the subsequent matches of Egypt were declared as a w.o. (2-0) for their rivals. |
