1/2 FINAL

Rīgas ASK - Real Madrid CF

4-0 (2-0 / 2-0) [w.o.]

[Due to political discrepancies between the Spanish government and the communist countries, Real Madrid had to withdraw their semifinal match against Rīgas ASK because they were not authorized by Franco to travel to “Russia” (although Latvia was a different republic) and the Latvian team were also denied entry visas in Spain. Although Real Madrid’s basketball manager, Raimundo Saporta, proposed to play this match-up as a single game in Paris on 28-06-1958, this solution was not accepted by FIBA.]

FIRST LEG

Rīgas ASK - Real Madrid CF 2-0 (w.o.)

SECOND LEG

Real Madrid CF - Rīgas ASK 0-2 (w.o.)
